This brand new apex predator of coasters catapults you up to 70mph, over 150 feet in the air in a series of intense maneuvers.
The Jurassic World VelociCoaster raises the bar in extreme roller coaster design. It is the ultimate experience for thrill-seekers visiting Universal Orlando.
VelociCoaster Specs
There’s over 4,700 feet of track and you’ll reach heights up to 155 feet. VelociCoaster’s signature maneuvers will have you twisting and soaring above land. Plus, you’ll be barrel rolling just inches above water and speeding through near-misses and launches. All with just a lap restraint holding you in place. That means plenty of airtime!
- Two pulse-pounding launches. It means you’ll reach 70 mph in 2.4 seconds.
- VelociCoaster has a one-of-a-kind, 360-degree barrel roll right above the lagoon.
- Zero-gravity inverted stall will send you upside down across 100 feet of track in a jaw-dropping maneuver.
- The VelociCoaster’s Towering “Top Hat” will propel you 155 feet in the air. Then you’ll immediately go into an 80 degree drop. It is Universal’s steepest drop ever.
- You’ll experience 12 heart-pounding seconds of airtime. That means you’ll have the thrilling sensation of weightlessness as you are lifted from your seat.
Visitors will join the original cast of the films: Chris Pratt as Owen Grady, Bryce Dallas Howard as Claire Dearing and BD Wong as Dr. Henry Wu.

VelociCoaster has been designed by the award-winning Universal Creative team in partnership with acclaimed filmmakers from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment.
