Epcot Flower and Garden Festival 2024 springs to life February 28th to May 27th. This year’s flowery festival is chock-full of lush topiaries, edible delights, gardens to play in and live entertainment.

  • Brand new topiaries for Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy, Miguel and Dante from Coco and Asha, Valentino and Star from Wish.
  • 18 Outdoor Kitchens will tantalize your tastebuds.
  • The Garden Rocks Concert Series is back once again with headline acts.
  • Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration scavenger hunt will be back.
  • Blossoms of Fragrance will feature again on World Showcase bridge – follow you nose to six scent stations.
Epcot Flower and Garden Festival events

Almost 70,000 festival blooms transform Epcot into a floral extravaganza. Beds of multi-colored blooms and Disney crafted topiaries are featured all around Epcot.

It takes around 400 Disney horticulturists a year to prepare for the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival.

It truly is a photographer’s paradise with so much color expertly combined by Disney’s professional horticulturists to create the perfect canvas.

As well as a dazzling array of topiaries, you’ll find enchanting gardens and displays throughout Epcot.

  • The Community Garden –  Diverse communal garden plot located in World Celebration.
  • Bonsai Collection – Japan Pavilion – discover the ancient art of bonsai with some of the finest living sculptures created by bonsai masters, who carefully shape and tend these miniature works of art, creating peace and balance with the earth.
  • Bamboo Garden – bamboo can be found at the China Pavilion in many colors, patterns and sizes.
  • English Tea Garden – This elegant English tea garden located in United Kingdom Pavilion features plants used in some of the finest tea blends. Take a self guided Tea Tour.
  • Garden Italiano – From fresh spaghetti sauce to your favorite pizza topping, this Tuscan kitchen garden at the Italy Pavilion features all the produce and herbs needed to create a classic Italian feast.
  • Shakespeare Garden – Thou shalt adore matching up famous quotes to flowers found within this vibrant garden at the United Kingdom Pavilion. William Shakespeare often used flowers and exotic gardens to help set the scenes for his plays and employed them as symbols and metaphors.
  • Tropical Rainforest Garden – Mexico Pavilion – learn how Mexican rainforests are rich with plants and animals that have adapted to a wide variety of light levels and water conditions.
  • Extraordinary Orchids – Beautiful and elegant orchids adorn Mexico.
  • Spice Garden – Learn how ancient spices were considered more valuable than gold in many Asian cultures at the Morocco pavilion.
  • Miniature Garden – A showcase of diminutive dwellings in the Germany Pavilion

Keep a lookout for the plethora of exotic blooms and creations that have been carefully planted in around 700 gardens.

  • Bold Bromeliads – The Land Pavilion
  • The Honey Bee-stro gives us an education all about the importance of honey bees. Enjoy sweet and savory treats made possible by their hard work.
  • Floating Mini-Gardens Ponds by the bridge leading to World Showcase.
  • Prehistoric Gardens – plants that existed in the dinosaurs’ days located near Mission Space in World Discovery.
  • Blossoms of Fragrance Garden – Fresh, unforgettable fragrances will be wafting around World Showcase Bridge
  • Butterfly Landing – Located near Imagination! in World Nature. View butterflies up close and learn about lifecycles.
  • Kokedama Garden – Ancient Japanese art features at this tranquil garden in the Japan Pavilion
  • France Bouquet Garden – See bountiful blooms perfect for a bouquet of cut flowers in the France Pavilion.

2024 Kitchens

An international flavor is served up during the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival. There are 18 outdoor kitchens to tantalize your taste buds for the 2024 festival featuring an array of tempting delights. Plus regular locations offering festival bites.

Outdoor Kitchens are open from 11am until park close, every day of the festival.

Garden Graze

Take your taste buds on a tour with your festival passport. This fun food stroll features several locations where you can purchase a featured Garden Graze item. Once you have collected at least 5 items along with a stamp for each in your festival passport, take it to Pineapple Promenade for a specialty treat.

Garden Rocks 2024

The Garden Rocks Concert Series is back once again for the 2024 festival. Concerts are held in America Gardens Theater at the American Pavilion. There are 3 performances each day at 5.30 pm 6.45 pm and 8.00 pm. All concerts are included in your park ticket, there are no extra costs. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis. You can reserve seating with a dinner Package – see below.

If you want guaranteed seating at the Garden Rocks concerts, you can purchase a dining packages for shows on Friday to Monday, which includes dining at one of the participating locations and seating for the concert on the same day. Packages are not available Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

Kids Activities

Kids may love the gardens, topiaries and unusual food but it’s important that they don’t get bored. All taken care of – there’s plenty of things for kids to do at the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival.

Scavenger Hunts

Spike’s Pollen Nation Exploration:
Budding gardening enthusiasts can take part in a scavenger hunt starring Spike, the cutest busiest bee around. Kids can explore and hunt down Spike’s best blooms as he pollinates the gardens of the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival.

You’ll also be able to commemorate your scavenger hunt with merchandise offerings featuring everyone’s favorite bee, Spike.

Egg-stravaganza Scavenger Hunt
Break out the bunny ears! the “hoppy-est place on Earth” welcomes wabbits of all ages to the limited time Egg-stravaganza during the Easter holidays. This popular scavenger hunt has everyone scampering around World Showcase in search of Disney character-themed eggs. And that’s no yolk!

Maps cost $9.99 (while stocks last) and can be purchased from Disney Traders, Pin Central and World Traveler.

Camp Get Out ‘N’ Play Garden – World Discovery – Camp-themed garden where little ones are invited to jump, play and climb.

Butterfly House

Take the kids through this exhibit, home to 1000 butterflies. Learn all about the life of a butterfly and see cocoons in various stages. You might even see a butterfly emerging from its cocoon. There are interactive areas and knowledgeable Cast Members on hand to answer questions. The kids will love it if a butterfly lands on them.

Epcot Purple Martins

These songbirds have flown an incredible 3,000 miles all the way from Brazil to visit Walt Disney World. They’ve come all this way to raise their families and Disney have provided luxury bird house resorts just for them! How cool is that for a fledgling!

Blue Martin Nests at Disney World

The Disney Conservation Fund
(DCF) is making efforts to reverse the decline of wildlife which may be at risk. It is also encouraging families to spend quality time outdoors, learning more about our surroundings and hopefully assisting the DCF’s achievements.

Get the kids to be on the lookout for the DCF logo at gardens, exhibits and habitats.
