Orlando in April brings endless sunshine, unique events, Easter bunnies and an abundance of things to do throughout Central Florida.
Festivals are on at Epcot, Universal, SeaWorld and Busch Gardens, plus there are lots of events beyond the parks too.
What’s the Weather like in Orlando in April?
Orlando in April is perfect weather. There’s no extreme conditions to contend with, just lots of sunshine, blue skies and spring is definitely in the air. With an average high of 83°F it’s time to pack shorts, T’s and flip-flops. You might need a light jacket or sweater for the occasional cooler evening.
There might be an odd rain shower too, so keep a poncho handy just in case.
What about Orlando in April for Crowds?
Although the parks are currently at limited capacity, holidays have still proved to be busy. Orlando in April brings Easter crowds and the tail end of Spring Break, which will make it busier. Crowd levels will be at peak level for Easter week. Extended hours at the parks will help.

Orlando in April: Epcot Flower & Garden Festival
Epcot is bursting with colorful blooms throughout April in Orlando. Floating gardens, incredible topiaries, horticultural displays and tastebud temptations. Plus, the Garden Rocks Concert Series returns with a line up of headline acts.

Seaworld Seven Seas Food Festival
Orlando in April brings us yet another foodie fest. The Seven Seas Festival at SeaWorld is held select dates from January 31 through May 4.
As you travel around the world, surround yourself with international street food traditions and enjoy live music from the best of country, Latin and rock. Sample local craft beers and delicious flavors while you make your way round the park.

Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival 2025
If you’re in Orlando in April and planning on a trip to Tampa, make sure you make time for Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival.
Food Cabins will tantalize your taste buds with food items. Plus there are over 100 fine wines, craft brews and featured cocktails.
Live Concerts each weekend are also included, all included with your entry ticket.

Orlando in April: Sunset Walk Entertainment
The Promenade at Sunset Walk is one of our favorite hang-outs and is almost on your doorstep if you are staying in one of our vacation homes.
Located just off the US-192 at Margaritaville Orlando Resort, there’s a wide range of great eateries, a selection of stores, an escape game, movie theater, game center, sling shot and lots of live entertainment. Plus, weekly car & truck shows, artisan markets and regular events.
There’s ample free parking and free entry for everyone.

- Sunset Live Nightly – Head to Promenade Plaza Stage for regional and local bands and artists – times vary – check calendar of events.
- Sunset Craft, Food & Drink Market – Thursdays from 6pm – Featuring the best art and décor vendors from across Central Florida and live music from 6pm. Plus venues of the Promenade bring delicious food and beverage menus to the streets of Sunset Walk.
- Promenade Racing Car & Truck Show – Fridays from 5pm – Featuring live entertainment, DJ Scotty B & Company. All makes, models, and years of show-quality vehicles.
- Dockside Duelling Piano’s at The Wharf – Fridays from 9.30pm. Request your favorite tunes performed by the dynamic duo live pianos.
- Show Car Saturday Nights – 4-8pm – Every Saturday, vintage cars from 1987 or earlier line up to share the love for these classic beauties. There’s a live DJ and party atmosphere too, followed by live music.
- Sunset Saturday Artisan Market – from 6pm featuring local Craft and Specialty Vendors from across Central Florida.
- Sunday Car & Truck Show – April 13th 2025 – 11am to 2pm – Classic cars and trucks collectors from all eras showcase their vehicles. DJ Don pumps out classic rock music every second Sunday of each month.
- Sunday Latin Sunday – Estefan Kitchen, El Jefe Tequilas Taco Cantina and BR 77 Brazilian Steak House present Sunday-Latin-Sunday every Sunday on the Promenade Plaza Stage with live DJs spinning salsa, Latin pop, merengue, bachata and more.

Orlando in April: Fiesta in The Park
The Fiesta In The Park is one of Orlando’s biggest arts and crafts events. It features over 600 artists and crafters displaying their original works which are also on sale.
And if that is not enough to occupy you and the family, live entertainment, a children’s play area and food vendors are also in attendance.
The lovely Lake Eola Park is the venue for this free event.

Sun ‘N Fun International Fly-In Expo
If a combination of aircraft and extreme excitement is your thing, then head over to Lakeland for displays to take your breath away. Both old and new aircraft will perform to the edge of their limits to keep you on your toes as you whoop and holler in amazement.
The Florida Air Museum and a car show are also on show. Ticket prices vary but there’s so much on offer, you really need to check it out for yourselves.
This is the largest air show in the Southern USA attracting over 200,000 people.

Orlando in April: Central Florida Earth Day
Held at Lake Eola Park (east side), the Central Florida Earth Day celebration educates on how to save the planet in a fun environment. This dog-friendly, alcohol-free, smoke-free vegan event features guest speakers, live music and family activities.

Winter Park Paint Out
Orlando in April brings 22 professionally-acclaimed plein air artists to the Polasek Museum and at other locations throughout Winter Park and Orlando. Art lovers are invited to watch the artists at work and attend free painting demonstrations. Works will be on display as soon as they are completed and dropped off at the museum’s wet room.
All artwork created during the week will be available for purchase with a portion of the proceeds going to support the Museum. Stop by to see and purchase works produced during this year’s Winter Park Paint Out!

Mount Dora Blueberry Festival
The beautiful little town of Mount Dora plays host to this delicious annual festival. It pays homage to the small but significant blueberry. These tasty little blue fruits are everywhere, in the pancake breakfast, hot pies and even alcoholic drinks.
Live music keeps the atmosphere lively and more than 100 vendors are more than happy to serve you and your family. The kids’ events will keep the little ones happy. Dare I say, they won’t be feeling blue?
