Located at Margaritaville Resort Orlando, Sunset Walk is just a few minutes drive from Walt Disney World and minutes from our vacation homes.

As well as tree-lined walkways offering unique shops, eateries and entertainment, there’s also a state-of the-art movie theater, game center and escape game. Promenade at Sunset Walk is a favorite hang out for both locals and visitors and is super pet friendly too. Several restaurants cater to pups on outdoor patios.

Weekly events include a car show and artisan farmers market. The cool vibe atmosphere is helped along with SiriusXM’s Radio Margaritaville that broadcasts live every day.

There’s ample free parking every day and a complimentary valet service is offered at weekends too, from 5pm through 11pm.

If you’re a Florida Resident, several restaurants participate in the Lunch for Locals program, which offers a selection of menu items at reduced cost on select days. Florida ID must be provided.

From car shows and live entertainment to unique markets and major events, there’s something happening each and every week on the Promenade at Sunset Walk.

  • Sunset Live: Live entertainment Tuesday through Friday on the Promenade Plaza Stage. Check the live music schedule for updated performers and times.
  • Promenade Plaza Thursdays: Art and decor vendors from across Central Florida from 6pm, plus live music.
  • Fired-Up Fridays: Car & Truck Show with all makes, models, plus a live DJ and regional bands and performers.
  • The Street Market at Sunset Walk: Held every Saturday from 6pm – Artisan and Farmer’s Market showcases a whole range of local crafts, fresh produce and speciality vendors from across Central Florida.
  • Show Car Saturday Nights – Classic and modern cars are showcased every Saturday 4-8pm. There’s a DJ and live entertainment from local bands and performers.
  • Car & Truck Show – On the second Sunday of every month Promenade at Sunset Walk is home to all makes, models & years of cars and trucks. From 11am to 2pm, you can check out all the vehicles along with a live DJ and giveaways.

Several restaurants also showcase regular local artists and bands.

You’ll have a tough decision deciding where to eat at Sunset Walk. Choose from over two dozen dining options, ranging from sweet treats and casual eateries to upscale dining and worldwide cuisine. You can grab a quick bite at one of the many fastcasual restaurants located throughout the complex, or you can indulge in lunch or dinner at one of the many fullservice eateries.

What we love about the restaurants at Sunset Walk is many of the eateries are locally owned or very small/local chains. You’ll find everything from Classic American, BBQ, seafood and rotisserie chicken to bakeries, burgers and bao buns.

For a taste of international cuisine, there’s Cuban, Brazilian, British, Mexican, Korean and more.

The Wharf at Sunset Walk

The focus is on fresh seafood and coastal cuisine inspired by the flavors of the sea. From succulent shrimp cocktail and oysters on the half shell to hearty seafood pasta and cedar-plank salmon. The menu also features a selection of land-based options for those craving a taste of turf, including juicy steaks and tender chicken dishes. With an emphasis on quality and flavor.

Appetizers include House Scampi Flat Bread, Sunset Shrimp and Fresh Ahi Tuna Stack to name just a few. There’s a range of soups and salads, market fresh fish, hand-helds, sides and a kids menu.

There’s a wide range of house specialties, Shrimp & Grits, Cast Iron Seafood Pot Pie, Jambalaya Pasta and Shrimp & Mushroom Pasta.

Make sure you lose the belt buckle for dessert. There’s Key Lime Pie and White Chocolate Banana Bread Pudding among the choices.

Brunch is also served every Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 3pm, plus a selection of specials. They are also part of the Lunch for Locals program if you are from Florida.

Lively Entertainment

The Wharf also offers a vibrant atmosphere with a central bar and stage offering regular live entertainment most nights. Local and regional artists perform throughout the week.

The lively Dockside Duo Pianos every Friday evening is great fun. There’s a $6 cover charge after 9.30pm, when it’s 21 and over only.

Lizzie’s Memphis Style BBQ

BBQ lovers will find lip-smacking smoked and barbecued meats and a selection of Southern sides. Appetizers include Smoked Bacon Wrapped Jalapenos, Pigs in a Blanket, sliders and skins and more. BBQ and smoked meats include ribs, pulled pork, brisket, chicken, smoked turkey and ham.

And how about those Southern sides? Sweet Potato Casserole, BBQ Beans, Pork Rinds, Green Beans with bacon & onions and Honey Butter Cornbread are just a few.

Sandwiches include Memphis-Style Pulled Pork, a foot long Smoked Diggity Dog and if you can’t decide, try The Pig which comes with bacon, smoked ham, pulled pork, BBQ sauce, pepper jack cheese, mayo, Dijon mustard and pickles.

Leave room for dessert! Choose from Southern Banana Pudding, Coconut Cream Pie, Double Fudge Brownie and Peach Cobbler, plus cookies and shakes.

Rock and Brews Kissimmee

Rock and Brews is a family orientated, music themed restaurant and one of our favorites. The casual dining atmosphere is perfect for families and music fans will love the rock vibe. Big screens adorn the walls playing music videos. Music memorabilia fills in any gaps.

There’s 3 dining areas – indoor seating, outdoor patio seating and a covered climate controlled patio area. There’s games for kids and pets are welcome on the outdoor patio. If you’re looking to just kick back and relax with a cocktail or beer, there are fire pit seating areas with comfortable sofas.

The menu offers made from scratch American comfort food. Make sure you leave room for dessert. The Purple Rain Drops are delish.

Craft beer fans will love it here too. There’s a huge range of beers on tap alongside bottled beers. They feature local breweries, international favorites and nationwide brands.

Ford’s Garage

Ford’s Garage is a neighborhood bar and grill offering gourmet burgers and American comfort food. There’s craft beers, cocktails and Hoptails – beer cocktails. Who even knew that was a thing? Pretty darn delicious though!

Themed with the vibe of a 1920’s service station, Ford’s features awesome vintage cars outside and throwback decor inside. And the restrooms are super funky!

Appetizers include the instagrammable Giant Funnel Tower of Jumbo Piston Onion Rings. Pretzels, Firestone Shrimp and Wings are among other choices.

Comfort foods include fish and chips, chicken tenders and meatloaf. But the main star of the show at Ford’s is craft burgers. There’s a large selection, all made with 1/2 pound USDA Black Angus Beef.

Yeoman’s Cask & Lion

(Currently closed for refurbishment – opening soon)

Yeoman’s Cask & Lion bills itself as a ‘British experience” offering traditional pub grub.

They claim to have the ‘best fish & chips in the world’. And they are pretty delicious! There’s also other Brit pub classics like shepherd’s pie and bangers & mash. A selection of craft burgers make an appearance too.

Yeoman’s offer traditional cask ales, a rotating craft drafts menu and hand crafted cocktails.

There’s regular live music in the main dining room, or you can sit in the bar area for a drink or a bite to eat. And Big Ben chimes on the hour.

Estefan Kitchen Orlando at Sunset Walk

Latin music icons Gloria and Emilio Estefan brought their Miami favorite, Estefan Kitchen, to Kissimmee. Estefan Kitchen Orlando features Cuban specialities, rice dishes, flatbreads, Cuban BBQ and vegetarian options too.

The dinner menu features a range of chicken, steak and seafood dishes. Seafood Paella is a house specialty and comes with lobster, shrimp, scallops, mussels and more.

Lunch is served daily and brunch is available Saturday and Sunday from 11am through 3pm.

As you would expect, music features heavily at Estefans Kitchen Orlando. There’s regular live entertainment every week.

El Jefe Tequilas Orlando

This family owned tequila bar and Mexican restaurant uses recipes passed down from generation to generation. Operated by father-daughter duo, Mario and Samantha Gonzalez.

The tequila bar features over 250 tequilas and offers made from scratch hand crafted drinks and cocktails.

Appetizers include Street Corn Quac, Ceviche del Dia, Tiger Shrimp Tostadas and Mexian Street Corn.

You’ll find Tacos, Fajitas and plates featuring vegetarian, fish, salmon, chicken and steak.

The house specialty is the Molcajete, served bubbling hot in a lava rock bowl. A choice of Skirt Steak, Chipotle Chicken, Shrimp, Barbacoa, Carnitas or Veggies topped with fire-roasted salsa with bell peppers and onions. The dish is topped with grilled panela cheese and cilantro and served with Mexican rice, Mexican street corn and tortillas.

Bento Asian Kitchen & Sushi

Watching Dad cook way back in the 80s was the inspiration behind the opening of this homegrown Florida success story. The Bento Cafe opened it’s doors to University of Florida college students in 2002. Local demand for the quick, casual pan-Asian cuisine quickly grew. Today, there are 11 locations across Orlando, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, South Florida, and St. Pete.

Pick your base from rice bowl, noodle bowl or bento box, then add your entree. A choice of chicken, tofu, steak, shrimp or veggies comes in a variety of flavors: Mongolian, Korean, Szechuan, Coconut Curry, Pineapple Sweet + Sour, Katsu, Teriyaki and more.

Signature Bowls include Wok Fried Rice, Pad Thai, Szechuan Noodle Soup, Pineapple Thai Fried Rice and Udon Noodle Soup.

BR77 Brazilian Steakhouse

This all-you-can-eat dining experience brings the flavors and traditions of Brazil to Promenade at Sunset Walk. The menu features a wide selection of meats served on large skewers at the grill station, along with an array of salads, sides and accompaniments.

You’ll find traditional Brazilian flavors such as Picanha, Brazilian Sausage, Filet Mignon and Beef Ribs. Plus, there’s Bacon Wrapped chicken breast, Baby Back Ribs, Hump steak, Top and Lamb Sirloin and more.

An à la carte menu is also available featuring a selection of specialities including Prime Tomahawk, NY Strip Wagyu, White Brazilian Cheese, burgers and seafood.
