What to Pack for Orlando in June
Cottons, linens and natural fibers in light colors are best for hot days. Dark colors attract and hold sun rays. Loose fitting clothes will also help keep you cooler.
Have a poncho with you. They are a little cheaper in stores like WalMart than in the parks.
Misting fans will be a great comfort too.

Just two days left to catch this amazing event before it ends June 2nd! Floating gardens, incredible topiaries, horticultural displays and tastebud temptations. Plus, the Garden Rocks Concert Series returns with a line up of headline acts.

Orlando in June: Sunset Walk Entertainment
The Promenade at Sunset Walk is one of our favorite hang-outs and is almost on your doorstep if you are staying in one of our vacation homes.
Located just off the US-192 at Margaritaville Orlando Resort, there’s a wide range of great eateries, a selection of stores, an escape game, movie theater, game center, sling shot and lots of live entertainment. Plus, weekly car & truck shows, artisan markets and regular events.
There’s ample free parking and free entry for everyone.

- Promenade Racing Car & Truck Show – Fridays from 5pm – Featuring live entertainment, DJ Scotty B & Company. All makes, models, and years of show-quality vehicles.
- Dockside Duelling Piano’s at The Wharf – Fridays from 9.30pm. Request your favorite tunes performed by the dynamic duo live pianos.
- Show Car Saturday Nights – 4-8pm – Every Saturday, vintage cars from 1987 or earlier line up to share the love for these classic beauties. There’s a live DJ and party atmosphere too, followed by live music.
- Sunset Saturday Artisan Market – from 6pm featuring local Craft and Specialty Vendors from across Central Florida.
- Sunday Car & Truck Show – June 8th 2025 – 11am to 2pm – Classic cars and trucks collectors from all eras showcase their vehicles. DJ Don pumps out classic rock music every second Sunday of each month.
- Sunday Latin Sunday – Estefan Kitchen, El Jefe Tequilas Taco Cantina and BR 77 Brazilian Steak House present Sunday-Latin-Sunday every Sunday on the Promenade Plaza Stage with live DJs spinning salsa, Latin pop, merengue, bachata and more.

Orlando in June: Bite:30
Orlando in June is heaven for foodies. What started out as a week long event, now spreads over two months.
From June 1st through July 13th 2025, participating restaurants present an awesome culinary experience.
You have the opportunity to sample a multi-course dinner for the price of an average entree. Fixed price menus at some of Orlando’s best restaurants offers patrons dinner for $30.
You don’t need any special code or coupon, just visit any participating restaurants and ask for the Bite30 Menu.

Summertoberfest at Krush Brau Park
Krush Brau Park aims to create an authentic atmosphere of a traditional Oktoberfest celebration right here in Kissimmee. The Summertoberfest features all of the best and well-known German beers, food, and gifts. Also featured are some of Central Florida’s breweries beers.
You can chow down on bratwursts, pretzels, schnitzels, sauerkraut and more and drink it down with a stein of best beer. Then hit the dance floor for traditional dances with live music.
There will also be a keg tapping ceremony at 5pm, plus several other contests including bier stein holding, yodeling, German limbo, German Schuplattler dance, best dressed Oktoberfest person and much more.

FREE Summer Fun Days at Bok Tower Gardens
Bok Tower Gardens are offering Wawa Summer Fun Days with complimentary admission on the last Thursday and Friday of the month from May through August. June dates are 26th and 27th 2025.
Pre-registration is essential to receive complimentary tickets. This complimentary offer is limited to four visitors per registration, and admission for the day is limited to assist with capacity issues. All members of the party visiting on Wawa Summer Fun Days will need to have a ticket to enter.

Rocket Launches at Kennedy Space Center
If you’ve never seen a rocket launch, it’s well worth the trip over to the Space Coast.
If you do plan on going to watch a rocket launch, keep in mind launches are very unpredictable. They can be cancelled hours or even minutes before launch. It’s best to plan a day at Kennedy Space Center at the same time. That way, it’s not a wasted day if the launch is cancelled.
