The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando is Enchanting and a Must See. There are two whole worlds located at Universal Orlando and each is mesmerizing. Hogsmeade is bright and enchanting with crooked houses and snow-capped rooftops. Diagon Alley is dark, and not just in decor. Some of the Dark Arts and shadier stores are embraced here.

Hogsmeade is the original Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It opened in 2010 at Islands of Adventure.

Diagon Alley opened in 2014 at Universal Studios. It’s the new addition to the ever-expanding $265 million Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando.

We never thought it possible, but Diagon Alley is possibly even more atmospheric than Hogsmeade. The attention to detail is utterly amazing.

Even the award-winning Disney imagineers would be rightfully proud of this impressive creation. It was partly devised by Hollywood production designers and that really is evident throughout. Every tiny detail has been painstakingly reproduced, even down to the fabric on the seats used in the Hogwarts Express train.

The Hogwarts Exress is a train ride that connects the two parks. You will need a 2 park pass to take the ride.

Even if you haven’t read the books or seen the films, it is difficult not to be enthralled and mesmerized by the come-to-life colorful shops. Honeydukes sweetshop, Ollivanders Wands, Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes and Wiseacres to name a few.
