Island H2O Live – Margaritaville Water Park

The vacation corridor along the Kissimmee west US-192 highway has exploded in recent years. New dining and retail options seem to pop up overnight. We thought we had it all. And then Island H2O Live came along and filled a hole we didn’t even know existed.

And what a water park it is! This brand new state-of-the-art aquatic playground is right in the middle of it all.

Part of Margaritaville Resort Orlando, Island H2O Live opened June 21st 2019.

Island H2O Live has 8 sensational water slides. Vertical drops, tubes, loops, racers and rapids. There are rides for 1 or 2 people and also family rides for 3 to 6 people.

2 children’s areas including slides, rides and tubes. Splishing and splashing to their little kiddies heart’s content.

For the less athletic, a lazy lagoon and adult area (over 21) allows you to bring your heartbeat down to a more manageable level.

Three outlets provide food, snacks and drinks. Plus a place to put your feet up.

Water Slides at Island H20 Live

Drop Down:
A vertical drop to top up your adrenalin rush along with the Florida tan.

Live Streaming
This is the only looping video embedded water slide in the world. A 360-degree loop provides a visual display you can watch time after time till your friends scream, “Enough already!”

The Downloader
A spinning, dropping musical experience of high intensity with an even higher scream volume. For 1 or 2 persons.

Max weight 300 lbs for 1, 400 for 2.

Follow Me Falls
Race down a steep descent before hurtling up a vertical ascent. Feel a scary moment of weightlessness at the top, before turning back for a second downhill drop. For 1 or 2 riders.

Max weight 300 lbs for 1 rider, 400 lbs for 2, 110 lbs min rider.

Reply Racers
6 lanes head downhill over humps with 6 racers fighting for the bragging rights of being the fastest. If you lose but think you could have won, challenge the winner to a re-run.

Reload Rapids
Race round tight corners and high banks in tubes in a thrill a minute ride. 1-2 people.

Hashtag Heights
A high-flying boomerang and steep drop combine with a feeling of weightlessness to give you a breathtaking ride for up to 6 riders. 3-6 people.

Profile Plunge
Another exciting ride round bends, wall sweeps and over humps and bumps for families and friends  of up to 6 people.

Candy Stripe Cove
Rides and slides to thrill the brave little members in the family. Their squeals of delight will resonate throughout the water park.

Pelican’s Paradise
A water park within a water park for kiddos that will keep them laughing and splashing till “we must go home now” time.

Level Up
A sizable area of the water park dedicated to sports fans. Not for the faint hearted or chill-out fans. Energetic old crusties are made welcome.
The water is 3’6″ deep.

Private Domain
Adults over 21 years of age get a well-earned rest and relaxation at this grown-ups pool area.
The water is 4′ deep.

Live! Lagoon
The center of the action and water park where everyone can meet old friends and make new ones. This beautiful pool is 5’6″ deep.

Chat Creek
Chill out on the lazy river as you drift seamlessly through Island H2O Live. Close your eyes and relax in the sun or chat to other like-minded drifters.

Cabana’s at Island H2O Live

There are 3 levels of cabana’s at the Margaritaville water park. Standard, Adult and Suites. All levels include a food and beverage service, refrigerator, table that seats four, two lounge chairs, 4 bottles of water, private locker and charging station.

The cabana suites have the addition of cushioned couch, two cushioned chairs and a coffee table.

• Standard Cabana – $99.99 weekdays, $119.99 weekends. Up to 6 guests
• Adult Cabana – $99.99 weekdays, $119.99 weekends. Located at adult only pool. Up to 6 adults
• Cabana Suites – $169.99 weekdays $199.99 weekends: Up to 16 guests

Island H2O Live Opening Hours

Island H2O Live opening hours are currently 9am to 7pm throughout the summer months. Hours shorten during the winter months, opening at 10am and closing at 5pm. The water parks is currently shown as closed on Wednesday and Thursday during the winter months. You can check daily opening times here.
