It might be the start of winter for many parts of North America, but in Orlando we only have two seasons – hot and hotter! The weather in Orlando in November is usually pretty much perfect. It’s the end of hurricane season, so the chances of storms are low. The days are warm and sunny with a lot less rain than summer, but the nights can be cool. Dressing in layers is the key in November. Something light for the daytime hours, but keep a sweater or jacket handy for cooler evenings.

Sunset Walk Entertainment
The Promenade at Sunset Walk is one of our favorite hang-outs and is almost on your doorstep if you are staying in one of our vacation homes.
Located just off the US-192 at Margaritaville Orlando Resort, there’s a wide range of great eateries, a selection of stores, an escape game, movie theater, game center, sling shot and lots of live entertainment. Plus, weekly car & truck shows, artisan markets and regular events.
There’s ample free parking and free entry for everyone.

- Show Car Saturday Nights – 4-8pm – Every Saturday, vintage cars from 1987 or earlier line up to share the love for these classic beauties. There’s a live DJ and party atmosphere too, followed by live music.
- Sunset Saturday Artisan Market – from 6pm featuring local Craft and Specialty Vendors from across Central Florida.
- Sunday Car & Truck Show – November 10th 2024 – 11am to 2pm – Classic cars and trucks collectors from all eras showcase their vehicles. DJ Don pumps out classic rock music every second Sunday of each month.
- Sunday Latin Sunday – Estefan Kitchen, El Jefe Tequilas Taco Cantina and BR 77 Brazilian Steak House present Sunday-Latin-Sunday at 5pm every Sunday on the Promenade Plaza Stage with live DJs spinning salsa, Latin pop, merengue, bachata and more.

Fall Festival & Pumpkin Patch
Southernhill Farms is a family owned and operated blueberry u-pick farm in Clermont. The Fall Festival is held Thursday to Sunday until November 12 2024.
There’s live music, local food trucks, craft beer & wine and, of course, the pumpkin patch. The pumpkin patch is home to an array of pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. There’s a playground for kids, and giant games for adults such as Jenga and bean bag toss.
You can also hop on the Blueberry Express or roast some smores on the firepit. You can purchase s’mores from the family store along with local and raw honey, lotions, hand balms and lots more.

VIVA Alfa Romeo Car Show
Alfa Romeo, vintage Fiat and Lancia automobiles of every year and model will b eon display, lining Market Street where visitors can view and meet the owners. Following the show period, the vehicles will be driven along a parade route through the Town of Celebration.

Stetson Mansion Holiday Tours
The Stetson Mansion is once again swinging open its doors to welcome visitors on a tour to celebrate the joys of Christmas. The theme for 2024 season is “Christmas…The Season For Believing”.
Voted number 5 in USA Today’s 10 Best Historic Holiday Home Tour in America, the Stetson Mansion was Florida’s first ever luxury estate, built in 1886 for famed hat maker John B Stetson. Today, you can tour the restored and renewed mansion in all its splendor.
Self Guided Tours are $29.50 for adults and times vary depending on dates. $15 for youths aged 1-22, plus $4 booking fee and 6.5% tax. Bring your smart phone for guided audio tour, or you can read descriptions in each room without. mobile device.
Guided Tours are available at different times, depending on dates. Guided Tours cost $39.50 per adult, $25 per youth, plus $4 booking fee and 6.5% tax.
Your self guided tour will take 70-90 minutes and you will visit multiple ground floor rooms with elaborate designer decorations and 24 nativities from around the world. You will also tour the three bedrooms on the second floor and visit the original School House, which has since been converted into a Zen like guest cottage featuring a soaring 15 ft Polynesian ceiling.
Keep in mind, this is not a public museum or funded project, this is a lived in home that the owners open up for tours.

Annual Pioneer Day
November 2nd 2024
What do you get when you combine history and a hands-on education? A fun day for all the family. Osceola History will present the 32nd Annual Pioneer Day festival as a celebration of Osceola County’s history and heritage. It’s free entry and free parking for everyone.
Discover how the Florida Seminoles and early pioneers survived. Learn how to milk a cow or make butter at the Kids Zone. Be entertained with live music. There are plenty of unique arts and crafts for sale, a kids zone and local food vendors. Plus historical demonstrations of pioneer living, early American trades and Seminole life.

Fiesta in the Park
November 2-3 2024
Head to Lake Eola in Downtown Orlando for the 53rd Annual Fiesta in the Park where hundreds of crafters and artists booths are available to showcase local talent. There are lots of food vendors too, plus live entertainment and a kids zone for the littles.
It’s fun for the whole family and the event is pet friendly too.

Holiday Events Begin at Disney World
From November 8th 2024
Orlando in November is a magical month. It gets even more magical when Disney holiday events begin in November. Holiday happenings begin on November 8th at Magic Kingdom with Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and November 9th at Hollywood Studios with Disney Jollywood Nights. November 29th 2024 is the start of the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays.

Orlando Veterans Day Parade

This is Central Florida’s largest Veterans Day Parade and features marching bands, ROTC units, active duty military, decorative floats and veterans groups from all military branches representing a wide variety of conflicts.

November 9 2024
A culinary treat for foodie aficionados. Cows n Cabs brings together renowned chefs from top local restaurants for this annual charity event held in Orlando in November. The Western themed event features live entertainment, a live auction and raffle, craft beer tasting and, of course, awesome food.
The annual event benefits All Stars Orlando, 4Roots Farm and Winter Park Day Nursery.

Antiques & Collectors Extravaganza

Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic
November 15th-16th 2024
The Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic returns in November with outdoor food stations lining the hotel causeway. Food booths offer delicious eats from award winning restaurants and lounges in the hotel, plus additional pop-ups during the festival.
As well as over 20 delicious eats, there are samples of 150 wines, beers and beverages from all over the globe.
Enjoy themed locations like the Bubble Lounge, Beer Garden, Chinatown, plus expert led seminars, including pasta making, wine blending, craft cocktails and more.

Festival of Trees
November 16th-24th 2024
If you love Christmas Trees, this is a must do for you. The Orlando Museum of Art is transformed into a wonderland of festive trees, wreaths and dazzling decor.
You’ll find over 30 decorated designer trees, handmade wreaths, elaborate table settings and gingerbread houses, all created by Orlando designers and available for purchase.
Tickets cost $20 for adults, $12 for children (ages 3-12). Seniors (60+), First Responders and Military are $12. Parking is $7 per day.

Snowcat Ridge
Opens for the season November 22nd 2024
Real snow in Florida? You bet! Snowcat Ridge is a seasonal attraction featuring a 400 foot long snowy slope for tubing. There’s a lift to take you to the top and you can tube down single, tandem or family style. Or head over to Crystal Ribbon for some ice skating.
There’s also an Arctic Igloo featuring a bunny slope for children under 42 inches. Constant snow too – perfect for building a snowman.
Alpine Village offers hot and cold food and beverages. There’s an open fire in the viewing area where you can roast s’mores and watch the Snowy Slopes light show after sunset. Alpine Village also features a Holiday Market offering arts and crafts.

Dunedin Celtic Music & Craft Beer Festival

Any Music fans? Beer Fans? Food Fans? What’s not to love! It might be a little further away at around 80 miles, but The Dunedin Celtic Music & Craft Beer Festival will give you a full day and night out.
The festival is set to be a great day of food and fun packed with endless entertainment. Live entertainment, food vendor and craft beers by several breweries.

Night of Lights, St Augustine

Not Orlando or Central Florida, but well worthy of a mention if you’re looking for a day trip during your visit to Orlando.
The beautiful, historic city of St. Augustine is well worth a visit, but through January, there’s the added bonus of the Night of Lights. This wonderful and atmospheric city is decorated with over 2 million tiny white lights creating a winter wonderland.
It’s a 2 hour drive, so plan to make a full day visit or even stay overnight to explore even more of America’s oldest city.
