Now Snowing in Celebration 2017 November 25th nightly through December 31st 2017
If you’re visiting Orlando for the Holidays, a white Christmas is probably the last thing on your mind.
But the Town of Celebration would never let a little bit of tropical heat and sunshine get in the way of Now Snowing.
Now Snowing in Celebration is a month-long wintry wonderland spectacular. It’s Central Florida’s original and premier ‘Snowing’ event and is a long-running tradition with locals and visitors alike.
Celebration, the town that Disney built, is a vintage throwback to traditional America and it’s even more magical during the Holidays.
During Now Snowing, there are live shows, street performers, strolling Charles Dickens Carolers, Santa visits, horse-drawn carriage rides, spectacular light shows, train rides, ice skating and plenty of fun for all the family.
You can even tour some of the beautiful homes December 2nd and 3rd.
And, of course, there’s nightly snowing at 6:00, 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00 PM.
Now Snowing in Celebration Events
Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony – November 25th 2017
The Tree Lighting Ceremony is a family favorite tradition and the atmosphere is magical. It brings us the first snow flurries of the season.
The 19th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony features live music, strolling carolers and the grand entrance of Santa himself. And of course the official Tree Lighting Ceremony.
Celebration Tree Lighting Ceremony takes place 5.30pm to 9pm.
Once the Tree Lighting ceremony has officially kicked off, the Now Snowing event is on every night at 6:00, 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00 PM.
So what is this ‘Snow’ stuff made of? Well, it’s affectionately called Snoap. But it’s really not soap, it’s a non-toxic, biodegradable product just like they use in the movies. Snow doesn’t fall during heavy rainfall or if temperature reach below 35 degrees.
It might be worth taking a change of clothes for the kids. The snow is wet and there will be no keeping them from playing in it!
Each year, the Now Snowing event features free family friendly concerts.
For 2017 Radio Disney Holiday Concert is on December 9th 2017 and the Annual “Countdown to Christmas” Concert is December 16th 2017.

Check out the Christmas Lights at Celebration Florida
The Lights on Jeater Bend is a street-wide Christmas spectacular that kicks off November 23rd 2017.
Created by Calvin Slater, a resident of Jeater Bend Drive in Celebration, the display was featured on ABC’s The Great Christmas Light Fight.
Take a drive through the synchronized displays and tune in to the displayed radio to listen along in your car. Or get out and experience the magical atmosphere as you closely inspect the thousands of lights and displays.
It can get crowded, so it’s best to park up on Celebration Avenue, close to Jeater Bend, and walk through the lights rather than drive.
