What’s the Weather Like in Orlando in February?
Although it’s generally a sunny month with little rain, Orlando in February can also pretty much blow hot and cold. You can see chilly temps one day and glorious hot sunny days the next. With average highs in the mid 70s and lows of around 40 degrees, packing can be a challenge.
We get on average over 10 hours of daily sunshine in February, but a jacket and sweater will likely be needed at some point. And something warm for the feet. Flip flops and chills do not mix well.
The evenings can be especially chilly, something to wrap up while you watch those fireworks is a must. Dressing in layers is the way to go for anyone visiting Orlando in February.

Orlando in February brings us yet another foodie fest. The Seven Seas Festival at SeaWorld is held select dates from early February.

Busch Gardens Mardi Gras
Get ready for the good times to roll. Mardi Gras kicked off at Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay in January and runs on select dates until March 1 2026.
There will be a Mardi Gras Parade, plus musical entertainment from Brass Animals playing jazz classics and the beats from Bourbon Street. To get your fill of festival beads, head to the Bead Balcony.
And it wouldn’t be Mardi Gras without delicious Cajun food – sample some signature shrimp po’ boy, hearty jambalaya or gumbo and more from multiple Festival Cabins.

Real Music Masters

Orlando in February: Universal Mardi Gras
Join the biggest party in Florida for family fun, live music and delicious food. Universal Mardi Gras runs daily from February 7 through April 4 2026 and brings a ton of fun to Orlando in February.
There will be an eclectic global food fest with more than 70 delectable dishes and beverages from multiple locations around the globe.

The Promenade at Sunset Walk is one of our favorite hang-outs and is almost on your doorstep if you are staying in Serendipity 5 Bedroom Home.

Orlando in February: Paws in the Park 2026
Help make a difference to thousands of shelter pets by heading to the annual Paws in the Park. The event at Lake Eola in Downtown Orlando is in support of Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando, the region’s oldest and largest animal welfare agency.

Big Game Watch Party – Promenade at Sunset Walk

The Osceola County Fair is a fun filled 10 day event the whole family will enjoy.
Tickets are $5.00 – $8.00 for adults, $3.00 – $5.00 for Children 5-11, $3.00 for Seniors (60+), Children 4 & under are free.
Live entertainment includes Rosaire’s Royal Racers, comic artist Kenny Ahern, IFLIP trampoline show, Max Power and Nitro, Dr Magical Balloons, Team Sandtastic, H.A.Y.L.O.F.T. and Eudora Farms, Petting Zoo.

DeLand Mardi Gras Dog Parade & Festival
The DeLand Annual Dog Parade this year features Mardi Gras in La Habana. The Dogs will be dressed for a Mardi Gras parade with a Caribbean flare. There will be a costume contest for 7 categories.

Monster Bulls
The 15th annual Monster Bulls is at Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee. Saturday February 14 2026 at 7.30 pm is the night professional bull riders prepare for “the wildest eight seconds ride on earth”. Watch in awe as they fight to hang on to almost 2000 pounds of raging bull. It’s tagged as the “most dangerous and exciting event of rodeo”.
Three groups of riders will compete for the coveted top place and prize money. And of course bragging rights for riding the biggest and baddest bred Silver Spurs bulls.
A portion of the money raised through attendance of the performance will be donated to a local deserving cause which in the past has included breast cancer and scholarships for motivated pupils.

Orlando in February: Silver Spurs Rodeo
Florida has a rich history of rodeo and it was once a way of life for Osceola ranchers. Today, the largest rodeo event east of the Mississippi can be found right here in Kissimmee.
The famous Silver Spurs Rodeo consists of PRCA professionals competing in all seven rodeo events for prize money totaling $100,000.
It’s a fun event for all the family. There will be Bareback Bronc Riding, Barrel Racing, Saddle Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping and Tie-Down Roping.

There will also be interval shows from the resident rodeo clown and kids aged 6-10 can join in with the Calf Scramble.
Tickets to the rodeo are $20 for adults for general seating, $25 for silver reserved seating and $35 for gold reserved seating, kids 4-10 are $15 and under 4 are free.

Orlando in February brings one of the States’ favorite fairs. Founded way back in 1910, the Central Florida Fair is so popular it attracts an average of 250,000 visitors each year. There’s a ton of entertainment for all ages.
It’s no surprise that this fair is one of the top 5 in Florida. Its’ aim is to celebrate the agriculture, education, history and cultural legacy of Central Florida.
