Take to the skies in the world’s largest tethered helium balloon. You’ll reach heights of over 400ft for a 360 degree birds-eye view overlooking the sprawling Disney Springs.

Each ride lasts about 8 to 10 minutes. Characters in Flight is located at Disney Springs Westside. Flights run from 9 am to 11 pm most days, but do check the daily schedule.

There are currently two locations at Disney World where you can take your loved one on a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride. Carriage rides last 25 minutes and cost $65. They can seat 4 adults, or 2 adults and 3 small children.

Port Orleans Riverside Resort: Your carriage ride takes you along the winding and picturesque pathway on the banks of Sassagoula River.

Disney World’s Fort Wilderness Resort: Enjoy the peace and quiet along the scenic trails around Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. You’ll make your way through forest woodlands and maybe spot roaming deer, rabbits and armadillos.

It’s the perfect place for a romantic stroll. Soak up the atmosphere, watch some live entertainment, sip a cocktail. Then delight in the deliciousness of one of the decadent treats on offer around Disney Springs.

Ghiradelli’s

For a chocolate sugar rush, pick up some hand dipped chocolate strawberries at Ghiradelli’s in Disney Springs.

If it’s a cool night, warm up with a cup of steaming hot cocoa and marshmallows, wrap up and take a seat overlooking the moonlit water.

Ghiradelli at Disney Springs also have a limited time valentine special. The Sweetheart Sundae is delicious strawberry ice cream with sliced strawberries, whipped cream, mini chocolate chips, hot fudge and a double chocolate heart.

The Ganachery

For cuteness and chocolate combined, head over to The Ganachery. They offer valentines themed romantic treats. You can even watch the chocolate making process or be dazzled with the knowledge of the servers.

Disney’s Boardwalk Resort offers some great romantic activities, including surrey bike rental. Take a slow pedal around Crescent Lake with your significant other. With scenery that will take you back to a bygone era, this experience will be both relaxing and romantic.

Follow it up by sharing a delicious Valentine themed treat from the Boardwalk Deli. Take a seat on the promenade by the shimmering lake and watch the world go by.

If you’re at The Boardwalk in the evening, head over to Jelly Rolls for the dueling piano’s with a lively atmosphere and fun-filled sing-a-long. It’s only open to 21 and over, so there won’t be any kids to interrupt your grown up night out.

For Valentine’s Day, the talented chefs are cooking up a Cuprid’s Boil to Share – this delicious dish for two to share includes Key West Pink Shrimp, Snow Crab, PEI Mussels, Red Potatoes, Sweet Corn and Cornbread. The cost is $109 which also includes two glasses of sparkling cava.

A cocktail will also be available called Scarlett Kiss. This special Valentine’s cocktail, priced at $16, is Blood orange vodka, creme d’ framboise, lemon juice and Orgeat.

Views of Lake Buena Vista set the tone for romance at Terralina Crafted Italian, inspired by Italy’s breathtaking Lake District. The dining room’s rustic charm is filled with stories and moments of celebration. The outdoor Veranda bar is a welcome invitation to get cozy over craft cocktails and whisper sweet nothings over the Riverfront Plaza while toasting to La Dolce Vita.

For Valentine’s Day 2024, they will be serving up a special Bone in Red Wine Slow Roasted Beef Short Rib over White Truffle Cavatappi Carbonara with Roasted Baby Heirloom Tomatoes, priced at $47. The Italian restaurant and neighboring speakeasy-inspired restaurant will offer a few specialty menu items on Feb. 14, only:
