4th of July is almost here, are you ready to Celebrate?
Central Florida takes a lot of beating when it comes to firework displays. There’s plenty going on in the theme parks and all around Orlando and Central Florida. Check out other July events too.

SeaWorld 4th of July Weekend
An important part of the Electric Ocean program is a special Fourth of July Reflections show.
At 10pm, the spectacular fountains and fireworks extravaganza explodes to life. Choreographed to patriotic music provided by 25 singers accompanied by a 9 piece band, it is a must see event.
Best viewing area is at Bayside Stadium. Fireworks are included with park admission.
The Florida National Guard’s 13th Army Band will also entertain guests with a patriotic offering.
An extra-special family treat to put you in the kids’ good books forever is the Independence Day Dinner with Shamu. This fabulous dining experience also comes with reserved viewing of the fireworks.
Adults (aged 10+) is $99.00 and Children (3 – 9) is $49.00
4th of July in Orlando – Celebrations at Disney
When it comes to fireworks, nobody beats Disney and July 4 is no exception. Two of Disney’s parks celebrate with special fireworks – Magic Kingdom and Epcot. If you go to Magic Kingdom on July 3rd and Epcot on July 4th, you’ll be able to see both!
Be prepared for crowds and crankyness though – it’s going to be hot and busy so do take some extra patience with you.
Magic Kingdom – A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky
A combination of traditional American songs allied to fireworks exploding behind Cinderella Castle lights up the Magic Kingdom sky on two nights – July 3rd and 4th.
The show starts at 9pm, followed by the American National Anthem.
Epcot – Heartbeat of Freedom
Epcot celebrates 4th of July all day long. Mickey, Donald and Goofy are dressed in all their patriotic costume finery ready for meet and greets at the American Adventure.
The exceptional IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth fireworks display is followed by The Heartbeat of Freedom patriotic finale. Immerse yourself in 4 minutes of exploding fireworks and a heartwarming and traditional American narrative.

Knight Lights Independence Day
Want to know how to make your kids realize how lucky they are to have such caring parents? Shelve your own desires and take them to LEGOLand for a special July 4 Independence Day celebration. This is guaranteed to have them eating out of the palms of your hands for….at least a few minutes.
Let them stay up late, put on their special 3D glasses and watch in awe as the fireworks disintegrate into millions of exploding bricks high in the sky.
Other delights include a glow in the dark dance party, July 4th Flag Build, meet-and-greet with LEGO characters, a live stage show and a scavenger hunt for knight’s shields.
Pizzas, fresh sandwiches and ice cream are available if they work up an appetite with all their exertions.

Celebrate July 4th with a Real BANG
Busch Gardens at Tampa is not shy when it comes to putting on a spectacular show for July 4 Independence Day. The live 30 minute long Kinetix show features live music and acrobats performing tricks reminiscent of Cirque Du Soleil.
Gates at Gwazi Park open at 8pm and the show gets under way at 9pm.
This presentation is then swiftly followed by an amazing fireworks display. The breathtaking pyrotechnic exhibition can be viewed anywhere in the park.

Test your resolve, your courage. Dare you ride SheiKra, Montu, Cobra’s Curse, Kumba or the 60 mph Cheetah Hunt in the dark? When fireworks are exploding all around you? Go on, you know you wanna!

This patriotic show takes place on July 4. The Orlando Eye lights up in the national flag colors of red, white and blue as it makes its’ 23 minute complete revolution

Baldwin Park Independence Day Bash – July 3rd
If you want to hang out and celebrate with the locals, then head over to the Baldwin Park Independence Day Bash. Get your Independence Day celebrations off to a fabulous, family friendly early start. Baldwin Park Village Center hosts this annual, free event starting at 6pm.
There is an absolute ton of vendors, food trucks, shopping, arts and crafts, interactive activities, face painting and, to relieve the stress….a beer garden.
The stage at the lake is the venue for DJ BradmasterJ to share his music assisted by a live performance by the local ROOM2 band.
At 9.15pm, the night sky explodes with a choreographed firework display.

Red Hot & Boom – Altamonte Springs, July 3rd
For over 20 years, a great way of getting your Independence Day off to an early and explosive start awaits at Altamonte Springs on July 3.
Live music is provided by Austin Mahone, Kaleo, Hey Violet and AJR. Mountains of yummy munchies contribute to another Red, Hot and Boom family fun day.
And to top it all off, a spectacular firework display starting at 9.30pm is choreographed to music on XL106.7FM.

Sci Fi 4 of July at Celebration
Jump into your hovercraft or spaceship and head over to Celebration for a memorable Independence Day celebration.
This movie themed sci-fi 4th July has a fancy dress competition at 7pm.
Pick your favorite superhero or sci-fi character and dress up just like them. Darth Vader, Wonder Woman, Spiderman or good old Obi Wan Kenobi are just a few suggestions that could win you a fantastic prize.
Youngsters are catered for with games, bounce houses and face painting.
A spectacular firework display synchronized to Sci- fi music is the grand finale to a super family friendly local event. A moving tribute to our veterans is included.

Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration
With up to 45,000 people in attendance, Kissimmee presents Central Florida’s largest July 4 event. Live music of all genres is supplied by a plethora of top bands on different outdoor stages.
Street performers, mime artists, stilt walkers, clowns for the youngsters to laugh at (for a change, it’s not Dad) and a host of other entertainments create an atmosphere not to be missed. Arts and crafts, food vendors, games and other activities. They’re all there.
And IT’S FREE!
And the finale is an amazing firework display at 9.30pm to thrill all the family, no matter their age.

St Cloud 4th of July Lakefront Celebrations
To celebrate Independence Day, the town of St. Cloud has a spectacular firework display over East Lake Toho. Bring a blanket or folding chair and relax on the man-made beach at the lakeside as the night sky explodes overhead.
15,000 spectators can’t be wrong. Food, fun and fireworks makes for a family friendly fiesta.
Or take a seat at Crabby Bill’s restaurant, one of our favorite local restaurants, and eat and drink like royalty as you admire your pyrotechnic display above.

Fireworks at the Fountain – 4th of July Downtown Orlando
The lovely Lake Eola Park in Orlando boasts the fountain in question. Mayor Buddy Dyer will be in attendance for this 40th annual event.
The entertainment gets under way at 4pm with plenty of games and activities for youngsters. Great eats and drinks are supplied by fast food vendors. Live music will keep the feet twitching and the vocal chords exercised. Great fun. And it’s all free.
A fabulous fireworks display begins at 9.10pm and the show winds up at 10pm.
Pack your picnic baskets, folding chairs or blankets for this old-fashioned 4th of July family day celebration. Go with an empty stomach and you’ll leave happy and full!

Surrounding streets around Lake Eola will be closed for most of the day, so plan accordingly on your drive in and exit post-event.
Thunder on the Ridge
Haines City is the local venue for the ever popular Thunder on the Ridge Independence Day event. Starting at 3pm, the city is awash with arts, crafts and delicious food vendors.
Live music is performed by Luvu, Burn, Blackbird Anthem ably assisted by Soulful Music Entertainment.
With plenty of kids entertainment and a beer garden for the adults, it’s truly a family event that lasts all day. Increase your arm strength by raising a beer or two in the garden or partaking in the cornhole tournament. Bring along a folding chair, make yourself comfortable wrapped in a blanket, relax and enjoy Polk County’s biggest firework display.

Mount Dora 4th of July, 2 Day Celebration
Another one of our favorite little towns is Mount Dora. This picturesque hamlet has a two-day Independence Day.
July 3, 2017 – Freedom on the Waterfront
Music is provided by radio channel 103.1 WOLF Country & Throwbacks supported by live acts Buddy Jewell and special guest Spayed Koolie on the stage. With plenty of activities to keep the youngsters entertained, the firework display kicks off at dusk. And, of course, it’s all free.
July 4, 2017 – Traditional Parade
A patriotic Independence Day Parade of marching bands and festive floats starting at 10am.

Smoke on The Water & Fire in The Sky
This event is a three day spectacle hosted by three separate cities on July 2, 3 and 4, at Florida’s Space Coast. Admission and parking are free to all three events.

Around 8,000 people will make their way to The Cove at Port Canaveral for good food and drink, kids’ activities, live entertainment and a street party. A fabulous fireworks display around 9pm will bring the evening to a close, but the local bars and restaurants will keep the party rocking.
