The ever popular ICE! returns once again for the 2024 holiday season. This indoor wintry wonderland walk though is the perfect way to cool down in the Florida heat. Plus, there’s dazzling decor in the massive glass atrium, Santa visits, live stage shows, snow tubing, Christmas markets, workshops, Christmas sing-a-longs and much more.
Gaylord Palms Christmas decor is magical. There are over 3 million sparkling lights throughout the resort. The grand Christmas tree stands at 60 feet tall and comes alive each night in a musical show. Over a hundred more Christmas trees are all around the Gaylord Palms resort. Stroll through lush gardens that contain over 500,000 plants sprinkled with holiday garlands, displays and poinsettia.

How Much is Parking for Ice at Gaylord Palms?
Parking is not included in any tickets for the Gaylord Christmas events. Parking for day visitors is $38 to self park, or $50 for valet parking. Some restaurants, such as MOOR, may validate your parking ticket if you spend $75 or more on dinner, but call first to check.
Gaylord Palms Christmas Events 2024
ICE! Featuring Elf
Approximately 6,700 giant blocks of ice, each weighing 300 pounds, are used to create the elaborate scenes and detailed characters. 36 truckloads of blocks of ice are shipped in from the ice factory. Then a troupe of 40 talented artisans from Harbin, Northeast China, leave below freezing temperatures and icy winds to bask in the Florida sunshine.
They spend several weeks using chisels, chippers, tongs, handsaws, grinders and even chainsaws to bring larger than life masterpieces using two million pounds of colorful ice.
Dress accordingly, the 20,000 square foot of exhibit rooms are kept at a chilly 9 degrees. Gaylord Palms provide thick parkers to keep you warm, but long pants rather than shorts are highly recommended. And ditch the flip-flops – your tootsies will thank you!
Tickets for the ICE! exhibit start at $29.99 for 12+ and $17.99 for ages 4-11. Bundles are available to save 20%, 30% or 50% depending on the bundle.

Here We Glow A-Caroling Light Show
The Here We Glow A-Caroling Light Show will take you on a journey of the tradition of door to door caroling. Thousands of choreographed lights dance and sparkle to light up the six-story Gaylord Palms Christmas tree which towers above Emerald Bay Plaza.
The show features an array of hit from jazz, pop and rock through the ages. It culminates in a high energy sing-a-long will leave you glowing.
Here We Glow A-Caroling Light Show takes place 3 times each evening at 6.30pm, 8pm and 9.15pm. No tickets are required to view.
Cirque: Spirit of Christmas
This family Broadway style show features Noel, a young child who is trying to recapture her love of Christmas with the help of spirits who visit her dreams. They show the true meaning of the season with high flying stunts, dazzling acrobatics and feats of flexibility.
Cirque: Spirit of Christmas takes place on the Emerald Bay Stage. The afternoon show lasts 35 minutes, evening shows last 45 minutes.
Tickets are available from $10.99 for 12 and over, and $6.99 for children aged 4-11, depending on dates, or you can purchase ticket bundles.
Snow Flow Mountain
In this snow play space during Gaylord Palms Christmas, you will slide down frozen solid ice lanes and race family and friends.
Tickets range from $24.99 to $29.99 per person, depending on the date, or can be included in bundle tickets.
Snow Flow Mountain is open daily from 9am to 8pm and your ticket gives you unlimited access all day long.
Snowball Build & Blast
Get your tube of snow and then build your snowballs to blast at the snowball machine and boost its power.
Tickets cost $14.99 per person. Snowball Build & Blast is open from 9am through 8pm (10pm for resort guests) each day of Gaylord Palms Christmas events.
The Greatest Story
This multicultural 25 minute story of Christ is a musical journey from performers all over the world. They share the story of faith, hope and joy during this Gaylord Palms Christmas event.
The show is complimentary and seating is on a first come, first served basis. You can purchase tickets to guarantee seating. Tickets are $13.99. There are 3 shows a day at varying times, check the calendar for times on the day you visit.
Gaylord Palms Christmas Photos with Santa
Santa Claus will be in attendance to hear your wish list for Christmas.

Naughty Or Nice Escape Room
Jack Frost has put your name at the top of Santa’s Naughty List. But, if you can make it into Santa’s office and solve all the riddles, you’ll be able to take your name off before Santa is any wiser.
A minimum of 4 is required. Tickets are $120 for groups of 4, and $239.94 for groups of 10. Smaller groups than 4 are permitted, but will pay the cost of 4. Recommended for ages 10 and over.

Mrs. Claus Christmas Traditions
Mrs. Claus hosts a 30 minute Christmas carols sing-a-long and reading of the holiday classic ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas”.
Cost is $18.99 per person which includes admission, milk and a chocolate chip cookie.

Gingerbread Decorating Corner
A favorite Christmas tradition for many. Decorate a delicious gingerbread cookie with your own unique design or create a whole gingerbread house.
After completing your delicious decoration, meet up with Nutmeg, Gaylord Palms resident gingerbread man for a hug and photo opportunity. Gingerbread Decorating can be found in the Alpine Village Sweet Shop.
Price: Decorating Kits range from $13.99 to $36.99 and are priced per kit, which can accommodate several guests. The decorating experience lasts up to 30 minutes. Guests 18 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Can you imagine having Santa as your boss and making toys all day? Learn the tricks of the trade from the top toy-maker to become one of Santa’s helpers and create an exclusive gift for someone special.
Decorating kits can accommodate multiple guests and cost $18.99. Your decorating activity lasts around 30 minutes. Guests 18 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The Elf Academy offers multiple slots throughout the day and runs from 10am to 8pm.

TwELF Days of Christmas Scavenger Hunt
Santa’s Elves needs your help in this interactive scavenger hunt. You’ll have to follow clues and search high and low in the 4.5-acre garden atrium. Once you complete your scavenger hunt you’ll receive a seasonal souvenir.
The Scavenger Hunt costs $14.99 and can be done at your leisure between the hours of 10am through 8pm during all dates of the Gaylord Christmas events.

Christmas Tree Trail
There are eight elegantly decorated trees in the Gaylord Palms Christmas Tree Trail, located in the 4.5-acre atrium.
There are several dining options during Christmas at Gaylord Palms, so you can make a whole day of it. Park up, take in the sights and enjoy.

No, this page is only about the Christmas events that ended on January 2nd. Winter Fest is a different event that does not have the same features as the Christmas options. It runs from January 7th to February 27th.
