With the flick of a wand, Universal Orlando gives us a magical Harry Potter Christmas in full-blown wizarding world of splendor. Both Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley get a Christmas makeover for the Holiday season. Plus, Wizarding World in Paris over at Epic Universe is getting decked out with festive decor too.
Holiday events at Universal Orlando start November 21st 2025 through January 4th 2026.
Christmas at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter includes holiday themed food, elaborately themed Christmas decor, festive live entertainment and a spectacular projection show beamed onto Hogwarts Castle.
The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle
This is the icing on the Harry Potter Christmas cake. Magical State-of-the-art projection mapping and dazzling special effects wrap around the iconic castle to transform it into a Christmas canvas. The show brings holiday spirit and memorable Christmas moments from the Harry Potter series to life.
The Harry Potter Christmas show starts each night around dusk and lasts for about 8 minutes. The show is repeated around every 20 minutes.
Live Entertainment during Harry Potter Christmas Events
The Harry Potter Christmas makeover includes an array of live, festive fun and entertainment.
Over in Diagon Alley, Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees belt out songs from the Christmas album Nothin’ Like a Holiday Spell dressed in holiday finery. Songs include:
- Nothing Like a Holiday Spell – There are many spells and charms in the wizarding world. But during this time of year, conjuring warm feelings of yuletide cheer is the most magical spell of all.
- Accio Christmas – This calypso inspired song officially brings a Christmas rhythm of the islands to the British Isles.
- My Baby Gave Me a Hippogriff for Christmas – Have you ever received a gift that wasn’t exactly what you were expecting? This song describes one such moment our singing sorceress experienced.
- A Witch and Wizard’s Wintry Wondrous Land – This classic wizarding carol shows there’s nothing more lovely than sharing the Christmas season with family friends and of course Celestina’s fans.
In Hogsmeade, The Frog Choir perform a bunch of traditional Christmas songs and a few spellbinding songs:
- Christmas at Hogwarts – This wizarding carol casts a Christmas spell that echoes through the halls of Hogwarts.
- We Wish You A Merry Christmas – The choir will bring a new and festive life to this classic holiday song.
- The Most Magical Yule Ball of All – Hosting the TriWizard Tournament also brings with it a magical event known as the Yule Ball. This song captures all the magic, elegance and wonder of this very special night.
- I Cast a Spell On Father Christmas – This fun song is a cautionary tale asking young wizards to be sure of the incantation before casting a spell.
Universal’s Holiday Tour
Upgrade your visit to feature a Universal Holiday Tour. This festive upgrade includes a walking guided tour of holiday entertainment and experiences at both Universal Studios and Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
- Exclusive Meet and Greet with the Grinch and his faithful dog, Max
- Reserved seating for the Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular
- Reserved viewing area for the Universal Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s
- Cookie decorating, light bites, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Meet and greet with Santa
- Priority access to one attraction (subject to Tour itinerary).
Universal Holiday Tour Dates
Prices range from $90 to $150 plus tax. Tours run on select dates from November 21 2025 to January 4 2026. Annual and Seasonal Passholders get a $10 off per ticket, per passholder. Book tickets online in advance.
During the Universal Orlando Christmas celebrations, your Holiday Tour ticket does not include theme park admission – each guest must have a valid park-to-park admission ticket for the same day as the Holiday Tour.
