Vista del Lago Resort

Vista del Lago in Kissimmee/Winter Garden is a beautiful tree-lined manufactured home resort that has been built around natural lakes and reserves, offering peace and tranquility in natural surroundings.

Vista del Lago Video:

We stayed in this resort several times and loved how friendly everyone was and the laid back feel of the resort. We also loved that it was so close to Disney, yet seemed light years from the hustle and bustle. Once through the gates, we felt the peace and tranquility wrap around us. We loved it so much we purchased our home, Sleepy Hollow, in 2010.

Located just five miles west of Disney, Vista del Lago is set back from the hustle and bustle of the busy US-192 Highway in Kissimmee.

It’s the perfect location to give you the best of both worlds – close enough to have everything on your doorstep, yet far enough away to give you peace and tranquility.

Check out the Drive Times from Vista del Lago to attractions, restaurants, shopping and more.

The community has a 24 hour guarded gate and patrol staff.

On-Site Snack Shack

Lisa & Anthony run Sunnyside Snack Shack located right by the main pool. To reach it, take the entrance to the Clubhouse, then take a left into the car park before the clubhouse building. You will see the post boxes straight ahead of you and the Snack Shack is to the right, next to the main pool.

They offer a range of home-cooked food to take home. The menu features pizzas, snacks and entrees, plus they have daily specials.

Grocery Stores & Shopping within Minutes:

There is a selection of grocery stores and retail complexes, including a Publix grocery store just a mile away and a 24 hour Wal-Mart just a few minutes further. Rolling Oaks Commons is just 2 miles and home to Ross, TJMaxx, Target, several smaller retail stores and lots of restaurants. Town Center at Orange Lake is right across the highway and home to Publix and several stores.

At the entrance to the community you will find the ‘Shoppes at Vista del Lago‘ with several stores and dining options such as a Chinese buffet, La Fuente Bakery & Restaurant, Pizza Hut, Subway and a Chinese carry out.

Anytime you want a break from driving, there is a regular bus service at the entrance of the resort that runs along the US-192 and offers a connecting service taking you right into Disney. Although it’s a short distance, it can take over an hour to reach Disney though, so a vehicle is much easier and quicker though.

The I-4 interstate is just a few miles away giving easy access to Universal Studios, SeaWorld, Kennedy Space Center and all the other incredible attractions Central Florida has to offer.
