What Are the average temperatures in Orlando in July?
With nothing but cloud, storms and rain, if you looked at the weather forecast for Orlando in July, you might be tempted to give it a miss.
But don’t be fooled!
It’s pretty hot! With highs hitting over 90 degrees and humidity at almost full pelt, Orlando in July isn’t for the faint hearted. Average high is 91°F/33°C and an average low is 75°F/24°C. Although it is hot and humid and subject to daily afternoon thunderstorms, normally the showers come and go in less than an hour or so. The theme parks quickly dry out as the sun once again replaces dark scudding clouds.
And there’s always plenty of things to do in the rain.
What to pack for July in Orlando
A poncho and patience will be your best friends during July in Orlando and Kissimmee. There’s no getting away from the fact that the parks will be busy, especially for July 4th weekend. Dress very light, in light colors. And make sure you lash on the sun block, the rays will be fierce. Check out our packing tips. With summer storms, you’ll need a rain poncho or umbrella on hand. But don’t worry, the sun soon dries up the rain.

The Epcot Flower & Garden Festival wraps up on July 5th. It’s your last chance to see the amazing topiaries.
The Epcot Food & Wine Festival runs from July 27th through November 18th 2023.

SeaWorld Summer Spectacular
The party continues in Orlando in July at SeaWorld. The music starts when the sun sets at SeaWorld, along with a range of fun and festivities and fireworks.
SeaWorld Summer Spectacular features:
- The Waterfront comes alive with a mix of electrifying music for a dance party beneath the waves for the whole family.
- Join the live DJ at Club Sea Glow for dance music, dancers and high-energy atmospheric acts.
- The night closes with this fireworks and fountains spectacular over the lagoon.

Busch Gardens Summer Celebration
The thrill rides at Busch Gardens in Tampa are some of the best in Florida.
The “Screamathon” goes off the rails as you get strapped in to rides such as Tigris, SheiKra, Montu, Kumba, Falcon’s Fury and more. In the Dark. B
Summer Celebrations has themed party zones with exclusive summer food and drinks menu. Join in the dance parties or watch the Turn It Up! Ice Show.
All Summer Nights events are included in regular admission.

Sunset Walk Entertainment
The Promenade at Sunset Walk is one of our favorite hang-outs and is almost on your doorstep if you are staying in one of our vacation homes.
Located just off the US-192 at Margaritaville Orlando Resort, there’s a wide range of great eateries, a selection stores, an escape game, movie theater, game center, sling shot and lots of live entertainment. Plus, weekly car & truck shows, artisan markets and regular events.
There’s ample free parking and free entry for everyone.

- Show Car Saturday Nights – 4-8pm
Every Saturday, vintage cars from 1987 or earlier line up to share the love for these classic beauties. There’s a live DJ and party atmosphere too, followed by live music. - Car & Truck Show – July 9th 2023 – 11am to 2pm
Classic cars and trucks collectors from all eras showcase their vehicles. DJ Don pumps out classic rock music, plus Easter Bunny and Easter Eggs. - Sunset Live – Tuesday through Sunday

Orlando in June is heaven for foodies. What started out as a week long event, now covers two months.
From June 1st through July 13th 2023, participating restaurants present an awesome culinary experience.

FREE Summer Fun Days at Bok Tower Gardens
Bok Tower Gardens are offering Wawa Summer Fun Days with complimentary admission on July 27-28, August 24-25, and September 28-29 2023.
Pre-registration is essential to receive complimentary tickets. This complimentary offer is limited to four visitors per registration, and admission for the day is limited to assist with capacity issues. All members of the party visiting on Wawa Summer Fun Days will need to have a ticket to enter.

Rocket Launches at Kennedy Space Center
If you’ve never seen a rocket launch, it’s well worth the trip over to the Space Coast.
If you do plan on going to watch a rocket launch, keep in mind launches are very unpredictable. They can be cancelled hours or even minutes before launch. It’s best to plan a day at Kennedy Space Center at the same time. That way, it’s not a wasted day if the launch is cancelled.
