Trains: Central Florida Railroad Museum

This museum might be tiny, but it’s packed with photos, exhibits, maps, signage, charts and historic railroad artifacts. Admission is free, but a donation is greatly appreciated. See full info

Located in Winter Garden, it’s well worth planning a few hours for a visit to this pretty town. The downtown area is lined with sidewalk eateries and unique stores. The museum is closed on Sunday’s, but plan a visit on a Saturday and you’ll also be able to catch the Winter Garden Farmers Market. Pop into Plant Street Market for a bite to eat or visit the Plant Street Craft Brewery.

Automobiles: Vintage Amphicar Tour

What better way to combine cars and boats? Take Dad on a Captain’s Guided Tour in a vintage amphicar. Tours are available from The Boathouse at Disney Springs.

The cars can drive on land and then splashdown into Seven Seas Lagoon.  The cost is $125 for a 20 minute tour for up to 3-4 people. Tours run 10am to 10pm, weather permitting

Treat Dad to a Tandem Discovery Flight for a totally unique experience. With an experienced instructor with him, he’ll get a birdseye view of Florida from 2000 feet up in the air. His instructor will teach him how to take control of the glider and he’ll experience free flying for around 15 minutes.

Drive a Military Tank

If Dad has always wanted to take control of a 17-ton FV433 real military tank, then Tank America is offering 25% discount for Father’s Day in Orlando. Cigar City Brewing was established in 2009, and has become one of the most respected and beloved local breweries. It offers award-winning craft beers, unique brewery events and an immersive brewery tour experience.

When you tour Spruce Street Brewery & Taproom, you’ll witness the magic as you explore the state-of-the-art brewing facility and learn all about the techniques.
